Bay Cities Story Company was founded in 2013 as Bay Cities Improv Company and began our name transition in 2024 as the company’s focus on storytelling began outweighing our improvisational roots. Even though improv remains a huge influence in our work, we understand that some stories may require a script to present a more complete entertainment experience.
We also realize that improv is often associated with comedy. And while there is nothing wrong with comedy (We think we do it well.), we want to tell stories that evoke more emotions that will create a richer, more meaningful experience for the audience.
We are STORYTELLERS.
We tell immersive stories in which our guests become a part of the story. Whether it's by being a suspect in The Murder Creek Mystery Show ™ or fending off pirates in The Pirates Curse, our guests are recognized as the true stars they are.
We are ENTERTAINERS.
We believe that all people want to be entertained and put life’s problems on hold if but just for a little while. We go to great lengths to ensure that all our guests (that’s what we call our audiences) are having a good time. Our shows are tailored to be enjoyed by friends and families of all ages.
We believe in MAGIC.
The magic is in the location. We create our stories with your site in mind. We’ve built experiences on a riverboat, in a casino, in a cinema, in restaurants, and even in a barn. We would love to collaborate with you in a partnership where we create magic together.
